Stone-effect porcelain tiles
Stone-effect porcelain gives a room the quiet, mineral character of natural stone, with a surface that is harder wearing and needs no sealing. Every Marvra tile is 11 mm rectified porcelain, classified BIa with water absorption of 0.5% or less, and tested to BS EN 14411.
The range runs from light to dark: Pearl, a soft light stone; Touch and Safari in warm neutrals and beige; Haven and Harrat Silver in calm greys; and Harrat Anthracite, a deep near-black that adds weight and contrast. Pearl and Haven come in 40 x 90 cm, the others in large-format 120 x 60 cm.
Darker stone effects hide everyday marks, which makes them a practical choice for kitchens and hallways. Order a sample for £1.99, credited back against your tile order, to see the colour in your own light before you commit.
Questions
Are stone-effect tiles suitable for a kitchen floor?
Yes. Porcelain resists stains and wear and needs no sealing. The darker tones, such as Harrat Anthracite, also hide everyday marks well.
Do you have grey stone-effect tiles?
Yes: Haven Grey in 40 x 90 cm, and Harrat Silver in 120 x 60 cm. Harrat Anthracite is the darkest in the range.
Is stone-effect porcelain cheaper than natural stone over time?
Usually, yes. Porcelain needs no sealer and no resealing, and it does not etch or flake, so the upkeep that natural stone needs over the years never comes up. Compare the price per m² of the tiles you like, then add the upkeep the stone asks for.
Can stone-effect porcelain go outside?
Our stone-effect range is 11 mm tile for indoor floors and walls. Outdoor paving needs thicker exterior porcelain, so ask us before using any tile outside.
How quickly is delivery?
In 1 to 3 working days on a pallet. Delivery is free on product orders over £349, and £89.95 below.

“Bought marble-effect tiles from Marvra for our bathroom reno and couldn’t be happier. The quality is brilliant — natural-looking veining, no cheap “printed” look, and the large tiles gave the whole room a proper high-end finish. Used them on the walls, floor, and shower enclosure and they all tie together beautifully. Collection was quick and easy, and the tiles were well packaged with no damage. Great value for the quality you get. Highly recommend Marvra — will definitely be using them again!”
